About

I am a Finance and Business Analytics student at Rutgers Business School, pursuing a double major while gaining practical experience as a Corporate Finance Intern at Colgate-Palmolive. My academic focus includes a Finance Track in fixed income and credit analysis.

I have a keen interest in financial markets and have begun trading options to enhance my understanding of investment strategies. As I look to the future, I hope to build a career on the buy side of finance and seek opportunities to further develop my skills.

Education

In my finance major, my academic focus includes a specialized track in Fixed Income and Credit Analysis, where I have gained a deep understanding of how debt markets function and how credit risk impacts investment decisions. Through this rigorous curriculum, I have developed skills in financial modeling, valuation, and the analysis of complex securities.

Meanwhile, my studies in BAIT have enhanced my ability to work with large datasets and utilize analytical tools to drive business insights. This combination of finance and analytics has equipped me with a unique perspective, allowing me to approach financial problems with both qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Looking forward, I aim to build a career on the buy side of finance, where I can leverage my analytical skills and passion for financial markets to contribute to investment decision-making.

Experience

My professional journey began at Retro Fitness, where I served as a supervisor from my freshman year until May 2023. In this role, I was responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for members, and providing exceptional customer service. This experience taught me the importance of teamwork and leadership while helping me develop strong communication skills.

Following my time at Retro Fitness, I transitioned to a tax firm in Staten Island, where I gained hands-on experience in tax preparation and client management. This role allowed me to deepen my understanding of financial regulations and sharpen my analytical skills as I worked to provide accurate and efficient service to clients. Collaborating with colleagues on various projects further enhanced my ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

After my internship at the tax firm, I worked for Knack as a Financial Accounting Tutor, where I reinforced my own knowledge while helping students grasp complex financial concepts. Currently, I am interning as a Corporate Finance Intern at Colgate-Palmolive, where I apply my financial knowledge to real-world scenarios. My responsibilities include assisting with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, enriching my understanding of corporate finance. Each of these experiences has contributed to my growth and prepared me for a successful career in finance.
